Memorial Community Hospital & Health System in Blair, NE, is seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to provide critical respiratory care across multiple settings. You will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied health staff to optimize patient outcomes and support the hospital's community-focused mission.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Active Nebraska Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• RRT within 6 months OR CRT with 5+ years acute care experience.
• BLS required on hire; ACLS, PALS, and NRP within 60 days.
• Acute care experience preferred; adaptability across settings.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient needs and develop personalized respiratory care plans.
• Perform respiratory procedures including ventilator management and oxygen therapy.
• Conduct cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic tests (EKGs, Holter, PFTs).
• Assist in C-section and vaginal deliveries with newborn respiratory support.
• Educate patients and caregivers on at-home treatment and follow-up care.
• Maintain respiratory equipment through preventive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to uphold care standards.
