Qualifications

• Graduate of a Respiratory Therapy program or eligible for SC licensure.
• BLS certification and NBRC credentials preferred.
• Ability to work across age groups from infants to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapy procedures as ordered in all acute/critical care settings.
• Obtain blood gases and report results accurately.
• Initiate and manage all types of ventilation and airway devices.
• Document procedures and bill for services; educate patients and families.
• Communicate effectively with the healthcare team and supervisors.
• Adhere to infection control and equipment sterilization protocols.
• Use resources efficiently and support department operations.
