Job summary

Requirements include an Associate's Degree, current Respiratory Therapist license, NBRC certification, BLS, NRP (NICU), ACLS within 90 days, and strong communication and analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Current License as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of practice.
• Credentialed by NBRC as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.
• NRP Certification (NICU) for trained NICU therapists.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory procedures per policy.
• Review and document clinical information for each patient.
• Educate patients and co-workers on procedures and plans of care.
• Perform diagnostic procedures as ordered.
• Provide care based on patient age and criteria.
• Maintain up-to-date professional certifications and knowledge.
• Attend staff meetings and participate in team activities.
• Perform other related duties as required.
