Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent required.
• Respiratory Therapist license in Massachusetts required.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider certification required.
• NRP certification required within 3 months of hire.
• Six months to one year of experience required.

Responsibilities

• Set up, apply, and administer therapy as directed, using respiratory equipment.
• Monitor patient condition and adjust therapies as needed.
• Perform pulmonary tests and consult on therapy modes and medications.
• Maintain records and prepare charges for accounting.
• Provide education to patients on respiration and home equipment.
