Job summary

Woburn Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care to residents. You will assess conditions, administer treatments, monitor progress, and collaborate with nursing staff and physicians.

Qualifications

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in the State of Massachusetts.
• Graduate of an accredited respiratory therapy program.
• CRT or RRT credential required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Experience in a skilled nursing, long-term care, rehabilitation, or hospital setting preferred.
• Experience with tracheostomy care and respiratory equipment preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to perform the essential physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents' respiratory conditions and develop appropriate treatment plans
• Administer oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, and other prescribed respiratory services
• Provide tracheostomy care and support residents with complex respiratory needs
• Monitor residents' progress and notify the clinical team of changes
• Maintain, inspect, and operate respiratory equipment
• Educate residents, families, and staff regarding treatments and equipment
• Maintain complete and accurate clinical documentation
• Follow federal, state, facility, and infection-control policies
• Participate in care planning and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
