Job summary

Boston Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide vital respiratory care under physician supervision. You will assess, monitor, and administer therapies per AARC CPG, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Must hold RRT licensure in MA and BLS; ALS is preferred. A sign-on bonus of $15,000 is available for external applicants through a limited promo period. Full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires RRT licensure in respiratory therapy (Massachusetts).
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to explain therapy procedures to patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive respiratory care per physician orders and AARC CPG.
• Assess and monitor cardiac, pulmonary, and neurologic status of patients.
• Assemble and check equipment for proper function before use; monitor during therapy.
• Administer ordered therapies and monitor outcomes and safety.
• Respond to emergencies and maintain BLS/CPR readiness; document patient responses.
