Job summary

Mercy Health St. Vincent Medical Center is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to provide invasive and non-invasive respiratory care under general supervision.

You will evaluate cardiopulmonary function, treat impairment, and care for patients across neonate to geriatric age groups. The role requires NBRC registration (or in progress toward certification), Ohio licensure, and active BLS status, with NRP in NICU settings.

Qualifications

• Must be registered by the National Board on Respiratory Care or certified if within six months of graduation from a Registry Program.
• Must attain RRT within 90 days of graduation or hire date.
• Must hold and maintain an active license to practice Respiratory Care in the State of Ohio.
• Must maintain Healthcare Provider status in Basic Life Support; NRP required for NICU Respiratory Therapists.

Responsibilities

• Provide invasive and non-invasive respiratory care under general supervision.
• Evaluate cardiopulmonary function and treat impairment under physician supervision.
• Care for neonate, pediatric, adult and geriatric patients.
