Lewis Park Post Acute is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner to provide respiratory therapies, assessments, and direct patient care. The role emphasizes adherence to facility policies, documentation, and collaboration with the care team to achieve patient outcomes.

The ideal candidate will hold an associate degree in respiratory care, be a graduate of an accredited program, and ideally have a BS in a health care field. CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications are required where applicable.

Formación

• Associate degree from an accredited school is required.
• Graduate from a respiratory care program.
• Bachelor of Science in health care field preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, and diagnostic evaluation.
• Assess signs and symptoms and plan outcomes of care.
• Document data and communicate changes to the care team.
• Follow policies, procedures, and safety/infection control guidelines.
• Perform interventions per priority and plan of care.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report incidents.
• Assist in emergency situations and inter-department communication.
