Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a 0.75 FTE schedule with weekend day shifts (7a–7:30p) and 12-hour shifts. You will promote cardiopulmonary health and collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

Requirements include NBRC-registered RT, Ohio license, and BLS; an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in Respiratory Care is required. Competitive benefits are based on experience, with a video overview available.

Qualificações

• Associate's or Bachelor’s degree from CoARC-accredited Respiratory Care program.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC and Ohio license.
• BLS certification required; PALS/NRP may be required depending on unit.

Responsabilidades

• Apply cardiopulmonary knowledge to prevent, identify and treat dysfunction.
• Provide respiratory care under medical direction across the care continuum.
• Develop care plans and disease management programs per evidence-based guidelines.
• Communicate cardiopulmonary needs to the care team.
• Participate in quality improvement and staff meetings.
