Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our full-time 36-hour week, 1st shift team serving Adult Care and NICU. You will provide respiratory care, operate ventilators, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited respiratory care program with at least an associate degree.
• Respiratory Care Practitioner license in state of practice and NBRC credentials (RRT or CRT) within required timeframe.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient assessment using pulmonary diagnostics and blood gas analysis.
• Operate ventilators and assist physicians with procedures.
• Deliver prescribed respiratory therapies and medications.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment and ensure patient safety.
