Job summary

Advocate Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for a full-time day shift (36 hrs/week) including every other weekend/holiday. The role supports adult and NICU patients with specialized respiratory care.

New grads are welcome, and compensation includes a $10K sign-on, up to $6K yearly bonus opportunities, relocation up to $5K, loan forgiveness up to $20K, and tuition reimbursement up to $20K. Clinical ladder growth is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• NBRC CRT certification must be obtained within 45 days.
• BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS/PALS/ACCS/NRP certifications required within 0 months unless waived.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care per standards.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues; assist physicians.
• Deliver medications and therapies per orders.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment and ensure functionality.
• Educate patients on therapy purpose, self-care and goals.
• Collaborate with departments to support patient management.
• Adhere to safety policies and report patient safety events.
• Assess age-specific patient needs and adapt care as required.
