Advocate Condell Medical Center is hiring a Respiratory Therapist for the Libertyville, IL site. The role provides and coordinates comprehensive respiratory care under physician direction, with a 36-hour week on a day shift, including adult care and NICU coverage, and an emphasis on safety and patient experience.

Required education is an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy. Certifications (CRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, ACCS, NRP, NPS) must be obtained per policy. No prior experience is required.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy required.
• CRT certification within 45 days.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, ACCS, NRP, and NPS certifications required within specified timeframes.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive respiratory care.
• Operate ventilators in critical and non-critical care venues.
• Assist physicians with bedside procedures as applicable.
• Educate patients on purpose, technique and self-care.
• Collaborate with other departments to support patient care.
• Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment.
