Job summary

Banyan Pulmonary Services LLC in Georgia is seeking a hands-on Respiratory Therapist to provide direct patient care across post-acute facilities. You will manage nebs, airway clearance, and assessments, tracking progress over weeks and months to demonstrate outcomes.

As the respiratory lead in each building, you will collaborate with nursing and physicians, maintain licenses, and help shape new post-acute respiratory care programs with autonomy and support from the Banyan team.

Qualifications

• Active state and national RT license in good standing (RRT or CRT).
• Graduate of an AMA-approved respiratory therapy program.
• Current BLS (or within 30 days of hire).
• ACLS if working ventilator units (or within 6 months of hire).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Track resident progress and adjust care plans over time.
• Partner directly with nursing and physicians to improve outcomes.

The role, practically

• Setting: Travel between nearby partner facilities
• Schedule: Depends on FT/PRN status; 7 am - 7 pm shifts
• Physical: Frequent walking, standing, reaching and handling of respiratory equipment throughout the day
