Job summary

Yourpayrollhr is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to deliver a range of therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care, educate patients, and participate in quality assurance activities. The ideal candidate will have 1–2 years of blood gas experience and hold a Maine Respiratory Therapy license with RRT credentials.

Flexibility for weekend rotations and 12-hour on-call shifts is required. Full-time employment with a location in Skowhegan, ME.

Qualifications

• State of Maine Respiratory Therapy license and RRT required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP required, or able to obtain within an allotted amount of time.
• One to two years of experience with blood gas skills preferred.

Description

The respiratory therapist is responsible for providing various therapeutic and diagnostic modalities as well as patient education and participation in quality assurance surveys. One to two years of experience with blood gas skills preferred. Flexibility to work rotating weekends and holidays as well as 12 hour call rotations for coverage and transports required.

Status: Full-time, 60 hours biweekly 24/36, variable shift

Qualities: Ability to work independently in emergency situations

Requirements: State of Maine Respiratory Therapy license and RRT required; BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP required, or able to obtain within an allotted amount of time.

They pay range for this position is $30.90 to $50.63 per hour, based on relevant education, qualifications, and experience.
