Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Respiratory Therapist II at Maine Medical Center in Biddeford, ME. The role provides independent respiratory care across diverse clinical settings and patient populations, with the ability to assess patients and develop care plans within established protocols.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Co-ARC approved school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Current state license in Respiratory Care.
• RRT certification required; can advance to Level II with RRT.
• BLS within 30 days of start; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required by facility, or obtain within one year.
• Minimum of one year experience in Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Provides independent, high quality respiratory care across multiple clinical settings.
• Assesses patients, develops and adjusts respiratory care plans.
• Manages complex patient needs within established standards and protocols.

Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist IIroleprovides independent,high qualityrespiratorycareacross a variety of clinicalsettings andpatient populations.Independentlyapplies clinicalknowledgein most practice settings and candemonstrateclinical reasoning and decision-making.Able to assesspatients,developandadjustrespiratory care plans, and managecomplexpatientneedswithinestablished standards and protocols.

Knowledge Skills And Abilities:

2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Carerequired. RRT certificationrequired. Must have RRT certification to advance toa LevelII. The pay range for this position is $37.09 to $50.17 per hour.
