Job summary

Avir Health Group in Texas is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team on a PRN basis. The RT will provide respiratory care to residents, including oxygen therapy, ventilator support, and tracheostomy care, while promoting patient comfort and dignity.

You will educate residents and families, collaborate with the care team, and ensure compliance with state licensing and safety protocols. Texas licensed RTs with BLS are encouraged to apply; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP)
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS preferred
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care settings preferred
• Skilled in oxygen systems, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and resident/family education.
