Job summary

Avir Health Group is seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist (RT) PRN to join our team in Texas. The RT will provide patient-focused respiratory care, monitor ventilator support, and educate residents and families in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualified candidates hold a Texas RCP license, a current BLS certification, and preferably ACLS. Prior experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care is preferred, and a compassionate approach to care is essential.

Qualifications

• Current Texas license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or acute care settings preferred.
• Skilled in oxygen systems, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and resident/family education.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy interventions per physician orders.
• Monitor and manage patient ventilatory status.
• Educate residents and family members on care plans and equipment.
