Qualifikationen

• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• NBRC-registered Respiratory Therapist credential within 180 days.
• Credential with the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care prior to hire.
• Education: HS diploma with 2 years of experience or an Associate/Technical degree or 4 years of relevant experience.

• Assess patient needs to develop and implement precise respiratory care plans based on specific diagnoses.
• Expertly manage and monitor high-level respiratory equipment and treatments, adjusting protocols based on patient outcomes.
• Act as a core member of the emergency resuscitation team, providing life-saving intervention during critical codes.
• Vigilantly monitor and document patient conditions, ensuring the medical team is informed of real-time changes.
• Empower families with the knowledge to manage health conditions and connect them with vital community support resources.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
• Respiratory Therapist specializing in Registered credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Respiratory Care obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
