Job summary

MSI is seeking Respiratory Therapists to perform in‑home CPAP and BiPAP setups on an as‑needed basis. There’s no set schedule or minimum hours. When setups are available in your area, you accept the visits that fit around your current job.

You’ll be paid for each completed setup, and your mileage is reimbursed. It’s a simple way to earn more using skills you already have.

Qualifications

• Active RT license (RRT or CRT) in the state of assignment.
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP setups, mask fitting and patient education.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete in-home CPAP/BiPAP setups per provider orders and prescribed settings.
• Fit masks, assist patients in choosing interfaces and sizes for comfort and seal.
• Educate patients on use, cleaning, maintenance and supplies.
• Help patients understand therapy goals and adherence importance.
• Troubleshoot fit, comfort, leaks, and equipment issues.
• Document setups, settings, education, and patient status.
• Coordinate with DME and clinical teams as needed.

What you’ll do

• Complete in‑home CPAP/BiPAP setups per provider orders and prescribed settings.
• Fit masks, help patients choose the right interface and size, and adjust for comfort and seal.
• Teach patients how to use, clean, and maintain their equipment, plus what supplies they’ll need.
• Help patients understand their therapy goals and why staying compliant matters.
• Troubleshoot basic fit, comfort, leak, and equipment issues.
• Document setups, settings, patient education, and patient status.
• Coordinate with the DME and clinical teams as needed.

Pay structure

• Paid per completed setup/visit (not hourly)
• Accept visits as they become available

What you’ll need

• Active RT license (RRT or CRT) in the state of assignment.
• Experience with CPAP/BiPAP setups, mask fitting, and patient education.
• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and comfort with in‑home visits.

Nice to have

• Home health, DME, or sleep experience.
