Job summary

MSI is seeking Respiratory Therapists to perform in-home CPAP and BiPAP setups on an as-needed basis. You’ll be paid per completed setup with mileage reimbursement, and there is no fixed schedule.

Accept visits that fit around your current job and earn more by helping patients start PAP therapy successfully. You’ll complete CPAP/BiPAP setups, fit masks, teach patients how to use and maintain equipment, and coordinate with clinical teams.

Qualifications

• Active RT license in the state of assignment and CPAP/BiPAP experience is required.
• Experience fitting masks, educating patients, and ensuring comfort and seal.
• Strong communication and reliable transportation for in-home visits.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home CPAP/BiPAP setups per provider orders and prescribed settings.
• Assist with mask fitting, interface selection, and comfort adjustments.
• Educate patients on use, cleaning, and maintenance of equipment and supplies.
• Explain therapy goals and importance of adherence to patients.
• Troubleshoot basic fit, comfort, leakage, and equipment issues.
• Document setups, settings, education, and patient status.
• Coordinate with DME and clinical teams as needed.

We’re looking for Respiratory Therapists to handle in-home CPAP and BiPAP setups on an as-needed basis. There’s no set schedule or minimum hours. When setups are available in your area, we reach out, and you accept the visits that fit around your current job.

You’ll be paid for each completed setup, and your mileage is reimbursed. It’s a simple way to earn more using skills you already have.

What you’ll do

• Complete in-home CPAP/BiPAP setups per provider orders and prescribed settings.
• Fit masks, help patients choose the right interface and size, and adjust for comfort and seal.
• Teach patients how to use, clean, and maintain their equipment, plus what supplies they’ll need.
• Help patients understand their therapy goals and why staying compliant matters.
• Troubleshoot basic fit, comfort, leak, and equipment issues.
• Document setups, settings, patient education, and patient status.
• Coordinate with the DME and clinical teams as needed.

Pay structure

• Paid per completed setup/visit (not hourly)
• Accept visits as they become available

What you’ll need

• Active RT license (RRT or CRT) in the state of assignment.

• Strong patient education and communication skills.
• Reliable transportation and comfort with in-home visits.

Nice to have

• Home health, DME, or sleep experience.
