Job summary

Pacific Hills Post Acute is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to join our Friday through Sunday per-diem schedule at our Morgan Hill skilled nursing facility. You’ll provide respiratory care per physician orders, monitor patients, operate ventilators and oxygen delivery systems, and educate families as needed.

The ideal candidate holds a current RT license, may have RRT/CRT, and is experienced in SNF or long-term care. We offer competitive pay and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current RT license in good standing (state-specific).
• RRT or CRT accepted.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred if applicable.
• SNF, subacute, or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments such as neb treatments and oxygen therapy.

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long-term care patients.

Position Summary

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post-acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.)
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and oxygen delivery systems
• Document treatments and patient responses accurately
• Collaborate with nursing staff and physicians to optimize patient care
• Educate patients and caregivers on respiratory therapies as needed
