Job summary

West Shore Post-Acute in Alameda, California, is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RT) to provide skilled care in a post-acute setting. This per-diem role emphasizes patient-focused care in a well-established SNF.

Responsibilities include administering treatments, monitoring respiratory status, managing ventilators, and collaborating with nurses and physicians. A valid RT license and BLS are required; ACLS is preferred where applicable.

Qualifications

• Current RT license in good standing (state-specific)
• BLS required (ACLS preferred, if applicable)
• SNF, subacute, or long-term care experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our team at a well-established Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, dependable, and experienced in providing respiratory care to subacute and long-term care patients.

Position Summary:

The Respiratory Therapist provides respiratory care services in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and state regulations. This role supports patients with chronic and acute respiratory conditions in a post-acute care setting.

• Administer respiratory treatments (neb treatments, oxygen therapy, trach care, suctioning, etc.)
• Monitor and assess patient respiratory status
