Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Nights 3×12s (7:00 PM–7:00 AM), Every other weekend

Pay: $54–$58/hour

Job Overview

Medical Center is seeking experienced Travel Respiratory Therapists to support Adult, Pediatric, and NICU Level III patient populations. First‑time travelers are welcome.

Department: Respiratory Therapy

Requirements

• RRT preferred; CRT accepted with experience
• RRT: 2–3 years’ experience
• CRT: 3–5 years’ experience
• RRT & BLS required

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory treatments and manage RT equipment
• Assist with intubations (no independent intubation)
• Perform ABGs and patient transport
• No EKG responsibilities

Patient Population

• Adults (all floors), Pediatrics, NICU
• Pediatric RTs may cover adults; Adult RTs will not cover Pediatrics

• Pediatric vents: Servo U
• V60 BiPAP, Vapotherm, Optiflow (NICU/PICU)
• Philips Cough Assist, ResMed CPAP
• Hill‑Rom Vest & MetaNeb

Scheduling & Orientation

• Block scheduling may be accommodated (not guaranteed)
• Overtime may be available
• Orientation: 2–3 shifts (additional shifts for Peds/NICU/ICU as applicable)
