American Traveler, LLC. is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment in a Respiratory Cardiopulmonary unit. Night shifts run 7:00 PM–7:00 AM on a 332-bed hospital.

Requirements include 1 year of Respiratory Therapy experience, NICU exposure, and certifications (NRP, PALS, BLS, ACLS). License as applicable and no 90-day gaps in work history are needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of recent Respiratory Therapy experience.
• NICU experience required.
• Critical care experience preferred.
• Experience assisting with intubations, bronchoscopies, and vent management preferred.
• Required certifications: NRP, PALS, BLS, ACLS.
• License required if applicable.
• No gaps in work history equaling 90 days or more within the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Work in Respiratory Cardiopulmonary unit on the 3rd floor of a 332-bed facility.
• Night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM for a 13-week assignment.
• Patient ratio of approximately 1:56.
• Operate ventilators, BiPAPs, Vapotherm, and Vest therapy devices.
• Utilize Meditech EMR for patient records.
• Floating to ICU/CCU, ER, Floors, and NICU as needed.
• On-call and weekend coverage required.
• Assist with intubations and bronchoscopies and manage ventilator care.
