Job summary

Ardent Health Services is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for day shift in Albuquerque, NM. This full-time role delivers respiratory care to critical and non-critical patients under physician orders, with strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

An Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and a current New Mexico Respiratory Care License are required. BLS must be obtained within 14 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Current NM Respiratory Care License is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
• One (1) year of related experience is preferred.
• AARC Membership is preferred.
• National Specialty Certification is preferred.
• PALS, NRP, or ACLS may be required by the facility/department.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the safe delivery of respiratory treatment to patients in accordance with standards of practice and physician orders.
• Ensures compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations to maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

Coordinates the safe delivery of appropriate and effective respiratory treatment to critical and non-critical patients in accordance with current standards of practice, physicians’ orders, staffing levels, and organizational policies. Adheres to policy, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Program. Related experience may be substituted for related education.
• Current NM Respiratory Care License.
