Lovelace Health System in Albuquerque, NM seeks a Night Shift, full-time Lead Respiratory Therapist to join our Respiratory Therapy-A team. You will provide clinical leadership, supervise staff, and coordinate complex patient care.

The role requires an Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy, valid NM license, BLS, and supervisory experience; ACLS or national certification preferred. Join a facility recognized for advanced technology and patient-centered care.

Formación

• Associate's Degree or Diploma in Respiratory Therapy.
• 1 year of critical care experience and 1 year of related supervisory/lead experience in a hospital setting.
• Current NM Respiratory Care License; BLS. ACLS or National Specialty Certification.

Responsabilidades

• Provides clinical leadership and promotes quality patient care by training and leading assigned staff.
• Collaborates with the manager and/or director in developing and revising department quality assurance, performance improvement, policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Serves as a department liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers, and staff.
• Coordinates and oversees the safe delivery of complex, non-routine treatments of patients.
• Performs facility-specific specialty procedures as required. Adheres to policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements :

• Associate's Degree or Diploma from an accredited Respiratory Therapy Program.
• Supervision/Management knowledge and experience; Clinical/Specialty expertise.
• One year of critical care experience and one (1) year of related supervisory/lead experience in a hospital setting.
• Current NM Respiratory Care License; BLS. ACLS or National Specialty Certification.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Certification in clinical specialty.
• Three (3) years of related experience.
• AARC Membership; National Specialty Certification
