Job summary

Ardent Health Services in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a day shift, full-time Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join Lovelace Women’s Hospital on its respiratory care team.

You will provide respiratory treatments, coordinate patient care, and ensure safety and compliance with standards while working with a dedicated team in a patient-centered setting.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy is required.
• Current NM Respiratory Care License is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates the safe delivery of appropriate and effective respiratory treatment to critical and non-critical patients in accordance with current standards of practice, physicians’ orders, staffing levels, and organizational policies. Adheres to policy, procedures, and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Program. Related experience may be substituted for related education.
• Current NM Respiratory Care License.

• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• One (1) year of related experience.
• AARC Membership.
• National Specialty Certification.
• PALS, NRP, or ACLS may be required by the facility/department.
