Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the night shift to join our dedicated team. You will perform patient assessments, deliver routine and critical respiratory care, and ensure blood gas analysis and equipment maintenance are carried out to high standards.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, Georgia-licensed RRT, and BCLS/ACLS/PALS within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Education requirement: Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences.
• No prior work experience required.
• RRT license and Georgia state licensure required upon hire.
• BCLS, ACLS and PALS within 60 days after hire.

Responsibilities

• Performing patient assessments and respiratory care procedures in adult care areas, including critical care procedures.
• Blood gas analysis and monitoring, equipment maintenance, and patient education.
• Support and implement respiratory care protocols and ensure compliance with unit standards.

Required Hours: 7pm-7am weekdays with weekend and holiday rotations.

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
