Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital, part of Piedmont Healthcare, is seeking a Respiratory Therapist for the 7pm-7am shift. The role involves patient assessments, blood gas analysis, and critical care procedures in adult care areas, with a sign-on bonus available.

Required qualifications include an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences, RRT licensure in Georgia, and BCLS, ACLS, and PALS within 60 days. No prior experience is required for entry into this role.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy Sciences is required.
• RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist and state license in Georgia required upon hire.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire.
• ACLS required upon hire.
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 60 days required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and respiratory care procedures per protocols.
• Perform blood gas analysis and review results.
• Maintain and manage respiratory equipment and educate patients.
• Work in adult care areas including critical care procedures as needed.

Performing patient assessments, general respiratory care procedures and protocols, critical care procedures in adult care areas, blood gas analysis, maintenance and management of all equipment and patient education.
