Job Summary

Respiratory Therapist (RT) Pediatric (PEDS) position in Denver, Colorado. This role involves providing respiratory care to pediatric and adult patients in a high-acuity unit, working a day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The position emphasizes patient care, ventilator management, airway support, and collaboration with clinical staff within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

Location: 1719 E 19th Ave, Denver, CO 80218
Shift Schedule: Days, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); 6 months current Respiratory Therapist (RT) experience; valid credentialing to practice in the state of Colorado.
Preferred Qualifications: Critical care experience (including adult and neonatal/pediatric), prior Meditech experience, proficiency with airway and ventilator management, experience supporting Emergency Department procedures.
Additional Information: The unit is equipped with advanced ventilator systems including G5, Servo, Avea, high-frequency oscillatory ventilator (HFOV), Jet, and V60/V30 respirators, supporting complex patient needs. The team is composed of experienced respiratory therapists trained to utilize new equipment and technology, fostering a collaborative environment.
