Job summary

Advantage Respiratory Services in Dayton, OH is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our local, independent DME provider serving long-term care facilities. The role focuses on patient assessments, ventilator management, and collaboration with physicians and care teams to optimize pulmonary outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree CRT/RRT NBRC required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Professional, positive demeanor with excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform non-invasive and invasive ventilator assessments and recommendations.
• Collaborate with physicians, hospital personnel and clinicians to ensure optimal patient care.
• Work with Long Term Care teams to manage patient care and educate on respiratory management.
• Complete initial and follow-up assessments in a timely manner.
• Ensure equipment safety, setup, operation, cleaning, and maintenance; follow PPE and infection control procedures.
• Adhere to HIPAA and company policies; participate in performance improvement initiatives.

Advantage Respiratory Services is a local, independently owned durable medical equipment provider offering a full range of respiratory equipment for the Long Term Care Facilities for better patient outcomes. This position is in a stable Healthcare Industry with no healthcare credentialing necessary. We are seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our Team!

Full-time shifts Monday - Friday 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

• Non-Invasive and Invasive VentilatorExperience Preferred
• Long Term Care Facility - Working with patients for better Pulmonary Outcom es. Patient Assessments and RT Recommendations.
• This role will work closely with referring physicians, hospital personnel, and other clinicians to ensure the best professional care of the patient
• Working as part of the Long Term Care Team of health care professionals to manage patient care
• Completes all appropriate initial and follow up assessments in a timely manner
• Demonstrate competence on equipment safety and troubleshooting, equipment setup, operation, and cleaning of equipment relative to assigned responsibilities.
• Provide education to Long Term Care Teams on Respiratory Management
• Follow Company policies and procedures related to the use of personal protective equipment, safety issues, infection control, and equipment maintenance.
• Adheres to all regulatory compliance areas, policies and procedures and performance improvement standards.
• Adhere all HIPAA Regulatory Compliance.
• Perform other duties as requested.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Associates Degree CRT/RRT NBRC
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
