Job summary

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care to patients in the home setting and manage ventilator support. The therapist will set up equipment promptly after physician orders and ensure proper use and safety of devices.

Responsibilities include delivery, paperwork, patient instruction, and follow-up calls in the home setting. Candidates must have a clean driving record, active RRT/CRT license, and be 21+ with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with home-care experience.
• Experience with ventilator management.
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting.
• Complete delivery and pickup paperwork promptly and accurately.
• Provide patients with instruction on the proper use, maintenance and safety of their medical equipment.
• Perform follow-up phone calls with patients after respiratory equipment is set up.
• Provide follow-up care in the home setting as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position:

Respiratory Therapist

General Description:

Quipt Home Medical is seeking a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with experience in providing respiratory care to patients in the home setting. The respiratory therapist will be responsible for setting up respiratory equipment in a prompt manner after receiving physicians' orders for prescribed respiratory equipment. The successful candidate will have experience with ventilator management.

Job Responsibilities:

• Set up and delivery of respiratory equipment including, but not limited to, non-invasive ventilators and BiPAPs in the hospital and home setting

Requirements

• Clean driving record
• Successful completion of a background check
• Must be 21 years or older to be covered on company auto insurance and have a valid driver’s license
• Must hold an active RRT or CRT License
