About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist you will:

• Conduct respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, inhalation therapies, and aerosol treatments


• Monitor patients' vital signs and assess their overall health


• Develop and implement customized respiratory care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team


• Maintain accurate records of patient treatment and progress


• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients with various respiratory conditions, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, and asthma


• Conduct pulmonary function tests (PFTs) and other diagnostic tests to assess patients' lung function


• Develop and implement respiratory care plans in accordance with professional standards and facility policies


• Educate patients and their families on respiratory care techniques and disease management


• Participate in interprofessional team conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans

Ideal Candidate:

• Has a minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist


• Possesses a degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field


• Is certified as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)


• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and committed to staying up-to-date on the latest respiratory therapy techniques and evidence-based practices
