Cherrelyn Healthcare Center is hiring a Registered or Certified Respiratory Therapist (RRT/CRT) to join our care team in Colorado. The RT will provide respiratory therapy, evaluation, and direct resident care within a skilled nursing and acute care setting, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to support residents’ pulmonary needs.
The ideal candidate has an active RRT/CRT license, an associate degree, and at least 1 year of experience, plus BLS certification.

Unencumbered registered or certified Respiratory Therapist authorized to practice in Colorado.
Collaborating with the Interdisciplinary Team, the primary responsibility of the RRT/CRT is to perform respiratory/pulmonary therapy, management, rehabilitation, diagnostic evaluation, and direct care to residents with deficiencies and abnormalities, which affect the pulmonary system. On a typical day, a Respiratory Therapist reviews their resident assignments for their shift. They also review their resident’s information, including current vitals, completed treatments and symptoms. Throughout the day, Respiratory Therapists visit with their assigned residents and inquire about how they feel with current treatments. They evaluate the resident’s lung capacities, check the amount of carbon dioxide and oxygen in a resident’s blood and perform other tests, as necessary.
