Elite Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate Respiratory Therapist to provide high-quality respiratory care in our skilled nursing and long-term care community. You will perform treatments, monitor status, and coordinate with the care team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Required CRT or RRT license and BLS certification, ACLS preferred; experience in skilled nursing or post-acute care is a plus. This full-time role is on-site in Birmingham, AL.

Competenze

• Current Respiratory Therapist (CRT or RRT) license in good standing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Provide respiratory treatments and therapies as ordered by the physician.
• Assess and monitor resident respiratory status during treatments and rounds.
• Identify changes in condition and promptly communicate concerns to nursing and providers.
• Assist with management of oxygen therapy and oxygen equipment.
• Monitor residents utilizing respiratory devices and therapies.
• Perform routing respiratory assessment including breath sounds, respiratory effort, oxygen saturation, and treatment effectiveness.
• Recognize early sign of respiratory decline and initiate appropriate communication and intervention.

Respiratory Qualifications
