OSF HealthCare seeks a Respiratory Therapy Technician to provide respiratory therapy to patients of all ages. This role requires adherence to established medical protocols, along with maintaining and monitoring respiratory equipment, ensuring quality patient care while collaborating with healthcare teams.

Expected pay for this position is $29.30 - $34.47. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills, and internal equity.

The Respiratory Therapy Technician works in accordance with evidenced-based policies and procedures of the Medical Center. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide respiratory therapy to patients as ordered by the prescribing physician, appropriate to all the ages of the patients served. In accordance with established policies and procedures, administers medical gases, medications, airway clearance, other respiratory modalities, and monitors levels of supplies and equipment for department and patient care areas. Applies theoretical knowledge to care of adolescent and adult patients and other members of the healthcare team by demonstrating competence in respiratory skills, problem solving, and critical thinking appropriate to the ages of the patients served.
