Job summary

OhioHealth in the United States is seeking an experienced Respiratory Care/Administrative leader to plan, direct, and evaluate operations across Respiratory, Pulmonary Rehab, and Cardiac Rehab departments. You will coordinate resources, supervise staff, and drive quality improvements to meet hospital standards and community needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with nursing units and physicians, budget planning, policy development, and adherence to ACLS/BLS and NBRC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in respiratory care or related field.
• RRT credential and state license to practice in Ohio.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• 3–5 years supervisory experience in respiratory care department.

Responsibilities

• Oversees operation of the Respiratory Care Section; manages staffing, resources, and quality improvements; ensures policy compliance.
• Manages Respiratory Care Supervisors and staff; conducts interviews, appraisals, and disciplinary actions; ensures licensure.
• Assists Administrative and Medical Directors with planning, budgeting, and cross‑unit coordination; prepares reports and presentations.
