Job summary

Equiliem is seeking experienced neonatal and pediatric intensive care nurses for a travel assignment in New Jersey. Candidates must have PICU/NICU background and an active New Jersey RN license, with BLS, NBRC, ACLS, PALS, and NRP credentials.

The role includes shift work (3x12s) and potential float across NICU and pediatric units. Responsibilities include ventilator initiation, BiPAP and high-flow therapy management, blood gas collection, and code response.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey license required
• BLS, NBRC, ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; travelers may obtain onsite
• Minimum 1.5 years of experience in PICU/NICU care
• Experience in neonatal/pediatric critical care environments
• Shift: 3x12s; willingness to float as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide neonatal and pediatric critical care in NICU and PICU
• Initiate and manage ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow therapies
• Perform blood gas collection and medication administration
• Respond to code situations and assist in in-house patient transport
• Float between pediatric units and NICU as needed; possible adult unit assignments on main campus

• Experience: Minimum 1.5 years of experience required


• Required Background: PICU and NICU experience required


• Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted


• Weekends: Every other weekend (Friday/Saturday)


• Time Off: All requested time off must be submitted with the submittal and approved prior to offer

Licensure & Certification Requirements

• Active New Jersey license required


• BLS required


• NBRC required


• ACLS, PALS, and NRP required; travelers may obtain these certifications onsite

Float Expectations

• Will float between BSMCH Pediatric units and NICU based on facility needs


• May float to adult units on the main campus
