Job summary

AbbVie Inc. in the United States is seeking a Senior Medical/Scientific Director to lead clinical development programs and guide cross-functional teams in strategy from concept to regulatory submission.

You will oversee protocol design, data interpretation, safety oversight, and mentoring of a small team while partnering with Regulatory and Medical Affairs to align on development plans.

Qualifications

• Medical degree with relevant therapeutic specialty in clinical development.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams in pharma/biotech.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and good clinical practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple clinical development programs and interpret data to support product strategy.
• Mentor clinical study teams and ensure timely enrollment and safety reporting.
• Oversee design, analysis and reporting of study protocols, CSRs, and regulatory submissions.
• Coordinate with Regulatory, Medical Affairs and Discovery for translational strategies.
