Job summary

AbbVie is seeking an experienced leader to drive clinical development programs across multi-site trials. The role requires strong medical and scientific expertise, joint cross-functional collaboration, and leadership in study design, execution, and data interpretation.

You will work with Clinical Operations, Medical Affairs, and Regulatory teams to ensure timely delivery of data supporting product strategy, while maintaining regulatory compliance and scientific integrity.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or non-US equivalent in a clinical field
• Strong leadership of clinical study teams across multi-site programs
• Excellent written and spoken English communications

Responsibilities

• Leads and demonstrates ownership of design and implementation of multiple clinical development programs in support of the overall product development plan.
• Oversees study teams, monitors study integrity, and reviews safety and efficacy data.
• Manages regulatory submissions, reports, and scientific documentation for programs.
• Interfaces with Medical Affairs, Clinical Operations, and cross-functional partners to align development plans.
• Represents AbbVie at external meetings and contributes to due diligence activities as needed.
