Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy or related field.
• Master’s degree in health sciences preferred.
• 2–3 years of experience in clinical respiratory therapy.
• BLS and ACLS; RRT with advanced credential required at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Designs, implements, and evaluates onboarding and orientation processes for respiratory services.
• Develops competency assessment programs with trained teams and aligns with organizational goals.
• Creates educational activities to address practice gaps, including continuing education and interprofessional programs.
• Assists with professional role development, practice transitions, and succession planning.
• Promotes research, evidence-based practice, and quality improvement in respiratory therapy.
• Collaborates with internal and external partners to plan and evaluate education programs and student rotations.
• Provides consultation on educational program design and learner outcomes.
• Provides direct patient care and bedside support, including hyperbaric therapy, and supports on-call shifts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapy
