Job summary

AbbVie’s Immunology R&D organization at the Cambridge Research Center in Cambridge, MA seeks a Scientist I to join the Respiratory Discovery team and contribute to the identification and validation of novel therapeutics for inflammatory lung diseases.

The successful candidate will support preclinical in vitro and in vivo models, with emphasis on sterile culture, immune cell work and data interpretation in a fast-paced drug discovery environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree with related laboratory experience.
• Theoretical and practical knowledge to carry out job functions.

Responsibilities

• Sterile cell culture of cell lines and primary cells.
• Process and analyze ex-vivo tissues for disease-relevant endpoints.
• Perform analyses using flow cytometry, qPCR, ELISA, MSD and multiplex assays.
• Develop assays that monitor cellular processes and communicate findings.
