The role requires an accredited respiratory care degree, an active RCP license, and at least five years of experience, with NBRC-registered credentials (RRT) and BLS; leadership consideration for CRT with NBRC.

Qualifications

Graduate from an Accredited College Program in Respiratory Care.
Must hold a current RCP license in the practicing state.
Five or more years of experience.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by NBRC; BLS may be obtained upon hire.
May substitute RRT with 10 years of leadership experience and CRT NBRC certification.

Responsibilities

Supervises the Respiratory staff to ensure safe, quality care following policies and guidelines.
Assists in planning, implementing, and evaluating operations, techniques, and technology.
Provides respiratory care through direct patient care and collaboration with the healthcare team.
Serves as a clinical resource for coworkers, patients, and visitors.
