Qualifications

• Graduated from an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Therapy (or grandfathered under CA Act).
• NBRC CRT credential required; RRT preferred.
• CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license currently active.

Responsibilities

• Administers respiratory therapy procedures (humidity, aerosol) and ventilation support as ordered.
• Manages invasive and non-invasive ventilators, including set-up, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Documents EMR entries with relevant patient assessments and procedure details.
• Responds to Code Blue and participates in CPR/per ACLS, PALS and NRP guidelines.
• Maintains equipment, ensures airway supplies and medications are stocked across units.
