Ochsner Health in Louisiana is hiring a Respiratory Therapist to provide respiratory care, oxygen services, and diagnostic support for in-patients and out-patients across neonatal to geriatric ages. You will monitor oxygen therapy, assist with ventilation, document patient information, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

The role requires an Associate's degree and state license. We value commitment to patient safety and ongoing professional development; ACLS/PALS within 90 days; BLS;

Competenze

• Current Respiratory Therapist license in the state of practice.
• Credentialed by NBRC as a Certified Respiratory Therapist.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification (NICU role).
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 90 days of hire.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 90 days of hire.

Mansioni

• Performs routine and advanced respiratory therapies per policy.
• Reviews and documents clinical information for each patient.
• Educates patients and coworkers on procedures and treatment plans.
• Performs diagnostic procedures and analyzes results.
• Maintains certifications and up-to-date knowledge; attends staff meetings.
