Job summary

IRB Medical Equipment LLC seeks a licensed Respiratory Therapist to coordinate and deliver clinical respiratory services to patients and customers in a fast-paced healthcare environment. The role requires strong assessment skills, treatment planning, and proficiency with respiratory equipment.

You will manage ventilator support, educate caregivers, and collaborate with physicians and referral sources. A valid RT license and clean driving record are required for on-site service delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; medical-related degree preferred.
• Must be registered or certified as a licensed respiratory therapist.
• One year of durable medical equipment, hospital, or relevant experience.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform clinical respiratory services for customers.
• Assess and monitor signs, symptoms, and responses to respiratory care.
• Develop, implement, and modify treatment plans based on assessments.
• Make recommendations to physicians for quality of care.
• Operate and manage ventilator support and life-support equipment.
• Read and interpret insurance documents and medical orders.
• Educate customers and caregivers on proper use of equipment.
• Coordinate with staff for prescriptions and eligibility for equipment.
