East Ridge Village is seeking an On-Call Respiratory Therapist (RT) to join our care team. You will assess and treat residents with respiratory needs, manage airways, and work closely with nursing and medical staff to ensure high-quality care.

The role emphasizes patient-centered care, adherence to clinical protocols, and ongoing professional development in a long-term care setting. Florida licensure and strong communication are essential.

Formación

• Current and valid RT license in FL.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience, preferably in respiratory, critical care, or long-term care settings.
• Excellent clinical skills with a focus on respiratory care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and care for patients with respiratory needs, including airway management.
• Provide high-quality respiratory care to residents, following established protocols and standards.
• Manage and maintain airways, including tracheostomy care.
• Monitor and document residents' respiratory status and progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate residents and families on respiratory conditions and care techniques.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
