Job summary

Houston Methodist in Baytown, TX seeks a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to perform routine and complex respiratory procedures, including ventilator support, bronchoscopy assistance and spirometry, to support physicians and the care team in delivering safe, high-quality care.

Candidates must have RRT and Texas RCP licensure, BLS and ACLS; NRP preferred. One year experience preferred; on-call and travel within the Houston area may be required. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• RRT NBRC required and Texas RCP licensure; BLS/ACLS required; NRP preferred
• One year experience as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and complex respiratory procedures including medication administration and gas therapy
• Provide ventilator support, bronchoscopy assistance, spirometry and related testing
• Assist physicians and healthcare team while maintaining patient safety and quality care
• Document care and ensure compliance with standards and regulations
