Job summary

Houston Methodist is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) in Texas to deliver routine respiratory care and support to patients across shifts. You will prepare, administer, monitor medications and therapies, and assist with ventilator support as part of the direct patient care team.

Clinical testing and bronchoscopy assistance may be involved. Qualified candidates should have RRT and RCP licensure, BLS/ACLS, NRP, and preferred 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credential(s) indicated below in the Certifications, Licenses and Registrations section
• Experience: One year as a Respiratory Care Practitioner preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform arterial blood gas analysis, spirometry and ventilator support
• Administer and monitor respiratory medications and therapies
• Assist physicians and health professionals with respiratory care procedures
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality customer service per standards
