As a PRN Respiratory Care Practitioner in the Respiratory Care Department at Sibley Memorial Hospital, you will independently provide specialized, evidence-based respiratory care with minimal supervision. You will assess and treat adult patients across the continuum of care while collaborating with an interprofessional team to promote safe, compassionate care and optimal patient outcomes.
This position requires advanced knowledge of cardiopulmonary pathophysiology and the ability to initiate, maintain, monitor, and discontinue respiratory care modalities in accordance with District of Columbia licensure requirements, Johns Hopkins Health System standards, and hospital policies.
Salary Range: Minimum 48.00/hour - Maximum 48.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
